hur hur hur i dug this out from my very OLD blog archives. it's a 2005 new year resolution! enjoy

This year, i resolve to use the words that i never get to use in a real conversation, words like "smithereens", "betterment" and "gestalt".

Gestalt

There. im off to a very good start already.

This year, for your convenience, i am offering my personal resolutions as a Resolutions 2005 ver 100, so that everybody can use it when making their own resolutions. Of cos, these are my own resolutions and merely serve as suggestions and modified to suit your own needs. BUT! by and large, they will encompass common resolution matters like weight-loss, procrastination, smoking, cleaning up your room and 'gestalt' (im off to a very good start!) so dear reader, here it is!

#1 i resolve to use the word 'gestalt' repeatedly, just because i like the way it rolls off my tongue.

#2 GESTALT.

#3 i resolve to stop procrastinating- in a bit...

#4 i resolve to clean my room. right after i stop procrastinating.

#5 i resolve to learn a new language. ooo maybe germannn

#6 Ich bin dumm! Aber ich kenne bereits Deutsche. Vielleicht sollte ich Portugiesen lernen. (means: silly me! i already know german! maybe i should learn portuguese!)

#7 Espera! Mas eu sei o portugues demasiado! haha! (means: wait! but i already know portuguese too!!)

#8 (for suicide bombers only) I resolve to blow myself up only when there's no other living being around me. cept maybe chickens with bird flu.

#9 (for chickens with bird flu) I resolve to stay far away from those crazy suicide bombers.

#10 i resolve to find out the real meaning of the word 'gestalt' and use it in a proper sentence. like this one!'

note: till NOW, i do NOT know what gestalt means, i do NOT know german nor portuguese, AND! ive not done any of the above. LOL.
